While I was excited for ALL the submissions of the YanJam, this one made me squeal, because I ADORE superhero comic visuals/aesthetics and this just blew my expectations even MOREEEE I LOVE IT SO MUCH
I was a bit surprised with there being actual voice acting but can't say I didn't like it. The whole experience honestly was such a wonderful vibe, AND THE YANDERE ASPECTS JUST KEEPS ON GIVING

I squealed at around the end when Nik was calling MC a desperate, scared lil' thing, kicking my legs and giggling
The game is genuinely amazing, interesting and unique plot, immersive writing style, loveable characters, but i don't think a visual novel has ever frustrated me more. I had many questions, and none of them were answered 😭. Nevertheless, anxiously looking forward to the second game!!
I still managed to play it on my Steam Deck. In desktop mode I downloaded the windows download via a browser (it wouldn't download through the itch.io app), and there was a .sh file that I added to Steam as a non-Steam game.
THAT WAS SO GOOD!! That ending has me in a chokehold and I will eagerly anticipate the next part >:DD I love love this sort of character dynamic and you executed it amazingly! The characters feel so layered, and given their own circumstances are portrayed really well! (I love the mom)
I need to also add that the cell-shaded comic-like art style paired with the subtle screentoned texture is suuuper nice, stylistically this looks AMAZING.
I really liked the contrast between Chronos and Nikolaos, and it was so fun to witness his two personas exist as paralells and then eventually start to converge as the truth/reality sets in for MC. 😆😆😆 The tension was crazy in those final scenes. I was so immersed that when my piece of shit laptop suddenly blue-screened on me while playing I was like WHYY NOW DAMMIT LMAO. Really good stuff and can’t wait for more!
A blonde yandere...yes, thank you! I like both sides of Chronos' character. A helpful sweet professional that the MC can banter with, and then Chronos' charming cockiness (that I can tolerate). I always enjoy when great voice acting is added. Really amps up the playing experience.
But I don't feel like I can relate to the MC because they're a little too "moral" for me, and I would not have left after finding out Nik's identity. I'd do another round with the "enemy"...heheheh. Though I understand that there is an emphasis on hero vs villain..and it does make a good cliffhanger for part 2.

I am IN LOVE with the sound track. The GUI is so fun to look at and I love love custom cursors. The voice acting was amazing. The comic book expressions and actions are to DIE for. I love this game and I can't wait to replay this!

Wow its truly a great visual novel Nick is so handsome too and hes a cutiepie even when he talked himself in the mirror as he said a hero cant exist if there is not a villain ,wanted just to ask if you can make a dlc and possible if its paid dlc if it can be on steam as i dont really know how to pay on itch io after what happens with our mc and him after knowing their indentity
Maybe even a little bit of the story about what happened to our mc s mom with her baby maker father
i write like this bc im normally a mobile user what i write rn is on laptop so its kinda hard but i just wanted to say if you all make a dlc i hope it can be on steam too as i dont know how to pay here as i normally pay with steam cards for games that i need to pay for w

We do intend to have the 2nd part out in August of this year, we are planning to do a base version of it, and a paid version which is the same, but with added content! 💖 Also we will be moving the game to Steam when that happens, just want to finish the game first. The 1.0 zip worked, so I think its a 1.1 update thing? Thank you for the update by the way, excited to see the new artwork and food choices!
someone said opening via the Itch app works for Mac users. I’ll have to have someone with a Mac I personally know to test it.
Can confirm that it works with the app! I have a Mac and it wasn't working until I opened it in the app.
