Olympians: Darius
This project was made for the O2A2 jam. It has limited assets, including < 1,000 total words, and was made in less than 10 days.
This is a stand-alone short VN set in the same universe as "Criminally Yours"
Maybe one day you'll spend more time with Darius and your other superhero team members...
Mithras, aka Darius, is the newest member of your superhero team, "Olympians," founded and formed by the superhero agency, Olympus, to be a united front against any and all who stand against them.
As a former villain turned hero, you don't think he means harm, but it's clear he doesn't take being a hero all that seriously.
So it's up to either gently urge him to do his job or kick his ass in gear.

I def. want to see more of Darius. This was so cute. I actually played before reading anything, so I was surprised to read he was a villain.

The description made me expect him to be way more of a jerk, so it was a delight seeing how much of a fake idgaf-er this man is.
He had his uniform on, which could mean he was at least halfway planning on going- or, given that he mentions a lack of pager alerts, that he genuinely wasn't going to show, but got fully suited and stayed on call in case he was needed for something on the field.
He goes on unprompted rants about hating empty promises and ways that the team could actually help people. If you respond earnestly, he gets downcast and says that nobody else would believe he cares. If you respond cynically, he theatrically proclaims that he doesn't care. And when he talks about Stevie, once again, depending on what you say he has a completely different excuse on why he definitely doesn't care.
I need more of this man, and I need him BADLY. I want to know what his villain costume was like for him to make fun of spandex suits. I want to see a fullbody illustration of his hero suit so I can see that bul- I mean, to compare. Major props for cooking this up in just 10 days.

Terrific use of limited assets--this was SUCH fun, and so well crafted! The banter with Darius is delightful; he might be an absolute brat (affectionate), but he's lovely to look at and the voice acting is also wonderfully expressive! Great work all around! ❤️

OMG like fr, he had such an unseen side character. He was never shown a lot, Robert needs to make him his own animated series like atom eve!! And what him and Ray had was going so good until he died :(

I miss him so much too!! I loved how he tried for Eve even though she clearly wanted Mark and then watched as his girl was taken away from HIM! But, I'm glad that he had Ray. And the fact that Kate dares to say she had it worse than Rex is absolutely insane!!

Was it after the line “See you in the studio, hero?” Cause if so that’s the last line. Otherwise I’d consider either restoring the game on mobile or downloading/playing on a pc instead.
